A Big Thank You!
Last Friday we dropped off several boxes of toys and clothes to Child Haven. We would like to give a big thank you to everyone who donated to our drive!
Child Haven is where abused and neglected children go until they can be placed with a relative, group, or foster family. About 3,000 kids go through each month. The facility houses about 90 kids who live on campus.
We had the opportunity to tour the facility and learn more about Child Haven, as well as meet some of the kids. The community does a great job of supporting Child Haven to make sure the kids have a Christmas and let them know people in the community care about them.
If you would like to make a donation, you can drop it off at Child Haven. They are located at 701 N. Pecos Rd, Bldg K, Las Vegas NV 89101. They also have volunteering opportunities if you would like to spend time with the kids.
